Setting:
The Siskey YMCA Afterschool Program is located at the Hemby Activity Center on a beautiful 21 acre facility in South Charlotte. We combine the space/activities of a traditional outdoors program with the structure of well trained staff that are focused on meeting the needs of individual participants and are committed to serving as excellent role models for the community.
History:
The Hemby Activity Center opened it's doors in 1987 as a summer day camp name Camp Eagle Rock. We have been serving our community for our 20 years in the form of Afterschool and traditional summer camp programs.
Activities:
Activities can range from nature programs, arts-n-crafts, field sports, swimming, fishing, indoor games, small group games, large group games, kids fitness, low ropes, tower, field trips around the area, spring break camps, Christmas camps, Mad Science, Kidz Art, Girls on the Run and much more.
