Setting:
We are part of the Spring Valley Early Learning Center located at Grace Lutheran Church. Our classroom provides ample space for table, group and individual activities and centers. The newly renovated playground has both grass and soft surfaces to allow for a variety of uses. There is
a community playground within walking distance as well.
Program Highlights:
Keystone Stars Star 3, Dedicated staff, Swimming with 1/2 hour lesson 1 time/week, Hot lunches are available for purchase and transportation
to/from school is provided for schools outside the regular district bus transportation routes.
Activities:
Activities are designed to compliment what the children are learning in school. We offer activities to support letter/ number recognition and printing, science, math, music, dramatic play, creativity, thinking and social skills, teamwork and conflict resolution.
Field Trip Destinations: Most field trips are set aside for our Y-Days and summer camp programs. There are times when we have in house presentations as part of a center wide event and walk to local businesses. Trips may include bowling, roller/ice skating, movies, zoos, museums and other historical or
cultural sites.
