History:
Completing the fifth year of operation
Program Highlights:
Academies of Reading and Mathematics. Hands-on reading/language arts, mathematics, and science. Archery, art activities, Robotic Activities are included in the program. There are snacks and a meal provided through child care licenses. The program also includes the Lakota Culture - Language, singing, and dancing.
Support Services:
4-H Activities, Boys Scouts, Girls Scouts, and North Dakota Extension Services
Activities:
Lakota singing, drum group, and dancing is included and highlighted in the program. Once a year there is an artist-in-residency program. Archery and art are activities included in the program. Academics in reading/language arts, mathematics, and science make up 85% of the program.
Field Trip Destinations: Academic incentive trips are taken each month for good attendance.
