The YMCA in Milwaukee has been operating Before and Afterschool programs for over 20 years.
Program Highlights:
Y School Age programs provide flexible scheduling, homework help, lots of different activities offered based on children's interests, safe & affordable care.
Support Services:
Financial assistance, through YMCA scholarships, is available for families facing financial hardship.
Activities:
Homework help, arts & crafts, large and small group games, activity centers based on children's interests, sports, games, and much more!
Field Trip Destinations: Field trips may be provided during School's Out programs.
Program Information:
The Y School Age programs offer peace of mind to working parents by providing programs on-site at your child's school. Our caring staff provide homework assistance, lead sports, games and arts & crafts, and organize special events - keeping your child safe and happy until they are taken to school or picked up.
The Y School Age programs provide opportunities and experiences that stimulate a child's physical, social, intellectual, and emotional development. The scheduling, pacing and rhythm of each activity is consistent with recognized principles of childhood development - each child develops at his or her own unique rate within general needs of his or her age group.

Literacy: Reading, writing, speaking and expressing oneself
Arts & Humanities: Drama, music, art, crafts, poetry, imagination and creativity
