Our program provides a resource-rich environment and introduces children to activities that build on what they learned during the school day. YMCA staff implement curriculum in active learning centers, which inherently embodies the Indiana State Education Standards without duplicating the classroom. Our curriculum includes eight core content areas: Arts and Humanities; Character Development; Health, Wellness, and Fitness; Homework Support; Literacy; Science and Technology; Service-Learning; and Social Competence and Conflict Resolution
