History:
The Ywca has been in existenceand serving communities since 1902. The afterschool program has been a thriving program for 18+ years.
Program Highlights:
We are a licensed program through Bright From the Start Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning. The YWCA has trained, knowledgeable and certified staff.
Activities:
Arts n crafts, homework, reading, math counts, recreation, socialization, and many more
Field Trip Destinations: Just to name a few, Stone Mountain, Rock Eagle's Georgia 4-H program, Stone Mountain, The Atlanta History Center, Atlanta's Chinatown, White Water, and a plethora of others
Program Information:
The program mission is to eliminate racism by providing a safe, affordable, nurturing and certifiable program to families that need the support of the YWCA throughout the Metro Atlanta area. The program provides children with the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential, it is safe & supportive of children and adults.
