Program Highlights:
Youth Empowerment Series (YES!) Workshops: goals of YES! are to educate the students and enhance their knowledge and skills around various topics promoting charater development and the consequences of risky behavior. Programs are age appropriate and medically correct and can be modified according to the needs of participants.
Topics included but are not limited to: STI & HIV prevention, Self-Esteem, Hygiene, Stress Managment for Teens, Healthy Relationships, Teen Pregnancy Prevention, Drug and Alcohol Abusse, Healthy Expression, Nutrition...etc.
C.H.I.C. (Courageous, Healthy, Independent, Confident) Click: is a weekly drop-in group for local girls ages 11-16 in Kingston and New Paltz. Can also be tailored as and afterschool program for girls 6-8th grade. The group will focus on fostering self-esteem, healthy decision making and empowering participants to build positive relationships and is designed to counter trends towards self-doubt by creating a supportive connection betweent the girls and their community and fostering genuine self-expression through group discussion and creative activities.\
Girls Inc. : This researched based program specifically for girls 6-18 years old focuses on their needs and challenges in order to inspire and empower girls to set priorities and make smart choices that will effect the rest of their lives.
Youth Leadership Internship Program: Summer internship program coordinated with local businesses in Ulster County for teens ages 13-15.
