School History: Our Lady of Fatima school building was built in the late 1940's with the school opening around 1950. Throughout its history OLF has served the East Elmhurst/Jackson Heights community. Current students include those whose parents and grandparents attended the school. Alumni share fond memories of classes, activities, and special events.
Programs and Services:
Honor students participate in the National Elementary and National Junior Honor Society. Students with special needs are serviced through the NYC Committee on Special Education. The Music program provides guitar or piano lessons for interested students. The Physical Education program emphasizes fitness and encourages physical activity. The school participates in the NYC Road Runners program.
