Program Highlights:
Weekly Garden Club meets during lunch hour to plant seasonal plants and make projects with garden theme using recycled supplies
Mission Statement:
Teaching students it's OK to try something new. Students are given incentives for attending and take home projects.
Program History:
Our school has had a garden for 20 years, we have been consistent with garden club for the past 6 years. We meet with students at lunchtime once a week. Students are encouraged but not required to attend. We have anywhere from 50 - 90 students from week to week depending on the projects we are doing.
Volunteer Participation: We have 8 parents who volunteer to help in our garden.
