Mission Statement:
The mission of the Horizon Education Center is to provide affordable quality care including educational and enrichment opportunities to the children in our communities.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
Horizon afterschool and summer programs are designed for students kindergarten through the sixth grade. They are focused on providing a safe place, allowing parents to work or go to school and helping students achieve academically.
Program History:
The Horizon Education Centers has a rich history of providing high quality and fun after school and summer programs. Horizon was started as an afterschool program in 1978.
Program Information:
Horizon has a unique approach that included hands on, activity based learning incorporating the Ohio Department of Education's Academic Content Standard in Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Fine Arts and Technology.
