The Mission of Alacare Home Health & Hospice is to serve homebound citizens of Alabama by providing high quality, multidisciplinary home health and hospice services delivered by an experienced, skilled and caring team of dedicated professionals.

Volunteers are Vital!
Alacare Home Health & Hospice volunteers complete the circle of care that is extended to each Alacare homecare and hospice patient. Volunteers improve patients' quality of life by supplementing attention and companionship provided by Alacare medical staff. Additionally, Administrative Support Volunteers assist with clerical support duties in all branch locations throughout Alabama.
Opportunities available for direct involvement with Alacare patients include:
