Philosophy/Belief Statement:
The Vision of Art Studio Inc., is to collaboratively advance the sponsorship and implementation of (creative-holistic) art integration in impoverished communities and schools. By utilizing all arts & wellness mediums we promote solutions that support human rights, life skills, education and career development. With these tools our at-risk ‘cradle to prison’ youth will be guided out of systemic poverty, towards a path of healing and success.
Program History:
Founded in 2007, Art Studio annually serves over 200 youth. In addition to empowering young minds at its community location, Art Studio currently holds programs at four local public schools. Art Studio also serves youth in need through partnerships with community organizations.

Additional Information:
Art Studio offers mutually-beneficial service and service-learning opportunities for dedicated individuals and groups who are passionate about empowering young minds and healing systemic poverty. Volunteers are needed to mentor youth, organize supply drives and/or fundraising campaigns, data entry/filing, photo and film editing, and social media/web strategy. Art Studio prides itself on mutually-beneficial opportunities that are as rewarding for the volunteers as for the youth we serve.
