Mission Statement:
To hand-deliver dreams to Nicaraguan Children through the distribution of toys and school supplies.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
The abundance of blessings we have been provided must be shared with our neighbors across the street, and around the world.
Our mission is fueled by the words in Mathew 25:41-46 " anything you refused to do for even the least of my people here, you refused to do for me". We do our best to imagine every person we meet, as if he or she was the very presence of Christ! We listen, learn and are kind to every person we encounter. Mother Theresa said "“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love.”
Program History:
Our small family run nonprofit travels to Nicaragua to hand deliver toys and school supplies to the poorest children of the country. Since our inception in 2005 we have helped over 10,000 children receive their dreams of toys and school supplies.
The children of Nicaragua live in the second poorest country in the western Hemisphere and have unfilled dreams of having their first toys. They play with sticks and rocks and face a sad and dire reality that can be ameliorated by us helping our brothers and sisters.
Events:
We hold different fundraising events throughout the year.
