Mission Statement:
The Milwaukee Habitat ReStore is a facility that supports the services provided by the Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity affiliate. The income generated from the project goes specifically toward expanding the programs of Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity. The Milwaukee Habitat ReStore recycles overstocked, discontinued, new and used building materials donated by manufacturers, stores, contractors and individuals. These donated items are sold to the public or used in construction of Habitat homes.
Additional Information:
At the Restore we have three different volunteer opportunities available for both groups and individuals. I have listed the times we need help below. We are in need of people pretty much every day we are open, so please let me know what time and date would work best with your schedule. You are welcome to volunteer an entire day or a few hours. Upon joining us, I will give you a full tour of the place and help you get aquatinted with your responsibilities and our staff.
Register: (Best for volunteers that can come in on a semi-regular basis. We will train you.)
Tuesday- 9am to Noon, Noon to 4pm
Wednesday- Noon to 4pm, 4pm to 8pm
Thursday- 9am to Noon
Saturday- 8:30am to Noon (Two positions available), Noon to 3pm (Two positions available)
Floor:
Tuesday- Noon to 4pm (Three positions available)
Wednesday- 9am to Noon (Three positions available)
Thursday- 9am to Noon (Three positions available), Noon to 4pm (Three positions available)
