Mission Statement:
Our mission is to to provide and direct net funding for cancer research, cancer discovery grants and clinical translational care on best ideas not currently eligible for federal funds.
Funding from PEDAL THE CAUSE will ultimately provide life saving research and cures for cancer patients. Our memorandum of understanding with Siteman Cancer Center, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Washington University School of Medicine and St. Louis Children’s Hospital allows us to direct funding in these areas.
This annual event will make a prolific contribution to cancer cures while creating a positive economic impact in the community. It is our hope to quickly become the largest charitable fundraiser in a weekend event for the St. Louis area.

Kickoff Celebration – Friday, October 8, 2010
Shifts available from 8:30am – 10:00pm
PTC will host a high-energy celebration at Soldiers Memorial in downtown St. Louis that includes top-level entertainment, dinner and drinks, and an opportunity to come together in passionate support of our goal.
Bike Ride – Saturday, October 9, 2010
Shifts available from 6:00am – 4:00pm
Riders will Pedal the Cause along the two PTC courses (25 mile and 60 mile) which traverse through St. Louis city and county, beginning and ending at Soldiers Memorial.
