Mission Statement:
To spiritually develop and academically challenge students to impact their world for Jesus Christ.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
Our vision is that students at Master’s Academy will enjoy learning in a safe, loving environment allowing them to thrive intellectually, physically, spiritually, and relationally. Our goal is for Master’s Academy students to be well-equipped for future academic studies, have strong Christian character, articulate in their faith, possess a deep level of self-governance, and display servant-leadership.
School History: On September 24, 1997, a proposal for a Christian school was presented at the Annual First Church of God Business Meeting and brought to a congregational vote. The doors of Master’s Academy were opened for the inaugural Kindergarten class of 14 students on August 19, 1998.
On September 6, 2000, Master’s Academy moved into a new facility at the corner of 58th Avenue and 12th Street, providing Pre-K3 through grade 4 classes.
Our academic program was completed in 2008, culminating in the graduation of the first senior class in 2009. Master’s Academy earned accreditation from the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) in 2009 and has been awarded re-accreditation through evaluation every five years since 2009.
Today, we serve 350 students from various economic, social, and ethnic backgrounds. As a vital part of the Vero Beach and Indian River County communities, Master’s Academy draws students from 25-30 churches on the Treasure Coast. We continue to refine our academic offerings and expand our programs.
