Randy loves teaching and has taught music for over 30 years. Finding ways to trick children into learning through music is his specialty!! Cool To Be Kind Program Randy performs his award winning songs about Kindness. One of the main songs in the program called "We All Have Feelings" was a finalist in The Artist's Forum International Music Contest in New York. This song includes actions, sign language and a catchy chorus that children and adults will be singing for a long time after the program.
The "Power of Yet" is a new program designed to help motivate children to never give up and to have a growth mindset that they just don't have it "YET" instead of saying they can't do something. It just takes hard work and never giving up to reach your goals and dreams.
Rockin' Together Program This program focuses on teamwork and working together! Songs like "Rocking Instruments" encourages students to work together to play in a band and when you all play together and work together it makes you feel good from your head to your toes!!
This is a great life lesson about how working together makes the world a better place. The song "Tambourine Star" encourages students to find something they are good at and to work together with others to keep improving on their skills. Randy also includes fun songs to sing and move to including a new song called "Crossover". "Crossover" is a fun dance song that gets the audience to crossing their midline. Research shows that learning to cross the midline helps children connect left brain to right brain and helps them become better readers.
Mission Statement:
Using music to make learning fun!
Philosophy/Belief Statement: I believe children can learn many things from music. My goal is to help children with fun uplifting music.
Program History:
I have been performing my programs for over 13 years. I perform around 50 shows a year along with teaching a full time music position.
