Program History:
BUVAD is a registered nonprofit in Uganda and founded in 2000, and since 2010, in partnership with IDC empowers in USA, has been providing educational stipends to children and has been supporting women with soft microloans towards boosting their local businesses ranging from local hand crafts (mats, hand bags, baskets, etc), retail businesses, fruit kiosks, local beer selling, gardening, animal and bird rearing. BUVAD staff is implementing the 'Women Come Together Credit Initiative' (microloan) program
Events:
Daily for two weeks going out and take video coverages and interviews in individual women households and finary coming up with a documentary to be used as a funds raising tool
