Application Process:
Stage 1
After you have made a decision, you apply by filling out our application form, you then tell us what you want to do whiles in Ghana, then the date of arrival and a confirmation of your date of arrival in Ghana by providing us a copy of your ticket. We will review your application and let you know your proposed placement's availability within 48 hours. If application is accepted, you are required to confirm your participation by paying a deposit of US $80 as part of your program fee, and receive an email confirmation of the receipt of your payment.
Stage 2
Details of your project ( what you have decided to do whiles in Ghana) and accommodation will be sent to you via email.
Stage 3
Staff will provide you with support letter for confirmation document, a comprehensive pre-departure Information package and 24/7 supervision and assistance regarding your travel to Ghana.
Stage 4
Staff will meet you at Terminal 3, Kotoka International Airport when you arrive wearing SMWEF Ghana T-Shirt with a placard SMWEF sign with a big smile.
Stage 5
In-country and project orientation will be introduced to you. Among many things our staff will show you to our beautiful city, the market, lorry station, eating places, exchange centres and also how to manage the difference in culture.
Visa Requirements:
We provide invitation and other supporting documents for people from countries that needs visas to travel to Ghana within 24 hours.

St. Miracle Works Educational Foundation, SMWEF Ghana is a registered African non-profit NGO and volunteer organization based in Ghana. SMWEF Ghana as an organization has a unique role to play in the lives of the deprived people living in the rural communities of Ghana.
As a local and native volunteer-based NGO/CHARITY, SMWEF Ghana improves local morale and advances the rural economy by providing a better place to live through projects which relies on the support of volunteers from all over the world.
SMWEF projects focuses on Childcare, Teaching, Healthcare/Public Health, Sports/Football Coaching, Farming/Agriculture, Girl-Child Education, Construction & Renovation, Social work, Child labor & Trafficking of children.
St. Miracle Works Educational Foundation (SMWEF) is committed to making a positive change in the lives of Ghanaian citizens. With our Volunteering or Internship Program in Ghana, you'll gain valuable experience while contributing to a meaningful cause. Join us and become a part of the solution to combat urban and rural poverty in Ghana. Volunteers work in both rural and semi-rural areas in Ghana.

Also, we are also involved in community services and travel, where we raise funds building or refurbishing dilapidated building in schools, clinics, community centers in remote areas in Ghana.
