Mission Statement:
The In Time Trust will alleviate poverty and raise the standard of living of the families of children who attend the Kailash Bodhi School in Jumla, North Western Nepal. Our mission is to be the provider of high quality education to our children by attracting sponsors, donors and raising funds. We seek to encourage our children to realise their full potential by identifying, attracting, sponsoring and providing educational opportunities and resources.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
The In Time Trust works with compassion and integrity to improve the lives of our students and their families. To protect the language and culture of the Himlayan people whilst also providing Dalit (untouchable caste children) the opportunity to fully participate in their communities.
Program History:
The In Time Trust was established in 2010 to support the Kailash Bodhi School in Jumla, North Western Nepal. The Trust has established a library, it pays rentals for all land and buildings for the school, provides a Tibetan language teacher, has established an arts programme, provided science equipment, uniforms, text books and stationery and equipped the administration with a computer and photocopier. The Trust also works to prevent child marriage and encourage all children to achieve the School Leaving Certificate.
Events:
The school celebrates Teachers Day, Childrens Day and joins in many cultural and sporting events held in Jumla.
