Additional Information:
Volunteer projects and internship opportunities with Travellers Worldwide provide an opportunity to take education outside of the traditional classroom setting. For 16 years, Travellers Worldwide has been providing students and adults with volunteer projects and internships overseas. Join us during a holiday break, a vacation, a gap year, or any time of year that you feel the need to immerse yourself in a new culture and help those in need at the same time! Volunteers use our projects to learn more about themselves before jumping into college, some volunteers find that they need a career break while others explore their intended education career path or maybe even discover their true passions in life. There's a big world out there….it would be a shame to miss it!
Setting: Let INDIA be your classroom! The culture of India has often been a source of fascination for people all around the world. The depictions of the poverty, beauty and music were recently captured in the film Slumdog Millionaire. Don't let the images given to you by the media be the only connection and experience you have with this country. There is so much to see and do and experience in India. Take a personal journey to taste the spices, feel the divine waters, shop the colorful bazaars, and live with the locals or with other volunteers. The vastness and diversity of India offers so much to share with travelers that it seems as though you could explore this country forever and be pleasantly surprised every step of the way!

Referrals: WHAT OUR PARTICIPANTS SAY…
"The trip was incredible; it was everything I expected and more. The family was amazing and very accommodating, I do count myself very lucky that Vinitha was there as she made my trip a lot easier and she was like my Indian mother when I was there. Pradeep was also very helpful and always assisted me when I need advice or help. With regards to travelling, I saw everything in Madurai in my spare time and some of it during my first weekend there. I also went to Kodaikanal and Thekkady in Kerala. The latter being the best trip of them all. Got some amazing pictures, memories and met some very nice people. So thank you all very much."
