Additional Information:
Volunteer projects and internship opportunities with Travellers Worldwide provide an opportunity to take education outside of the traditional classroom setting. For 16 years, Travellers Worldwide has been providing students and adults with volunteer projects and internships overseas. Join us during a holiday break, a vacation, a gap year, or any time of year that you feel the need to immerse yourself in a new culture and help those in need at the same time! Volunteers use our projects to learn more about themselves before jumping into college, some volunteers find that they need a career break while others explore their intended education career path or maybe even discover their true passions in life. There's a big world out there….it would be a shame to miss it!
Setting: Let NEW ZEALAND be your classroom. This energetic country is filled with cultural diversity and historical legends and truths. The landscape of pristine coastlines, rugged cliffs, volcanoes, glaciers and so much more is breath-taking and perfect for outdoor adventuring! The climate of New Zealand offers warm sunshine, cold winter weather (perfect for skiing the mountain ranges!) and various other changes depending on the location and time of year that you visit. Fresh seafood is a main attraction when it comes to mealtime as well as other food cultivated and raised on the islands. Referrals: WHAT OUR PARTICIPANTS SAY…
"I am emailing to express my thanks at the best three months of my life, spent volunteering in Auckland and Chong Ming Island. The support I received before my placement started was extremely helpful and was matched by local staff once my placement had begun. It was good to know that despite being in an alien environment, there were people I could ask for help if it was needed. The placements themselves were great fun, and I really enjoyed working with the children and teachers, who were without exception, the nicest people you will meet. I really would recommend Travellers to anyone. Keep up the good work!" - Stuart Savidge / Cricket Coaching - New Zealand
