Giving Children Hope is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to alleviating poverty (domestically and abroad) through disaster relief, health and community development, vocational training and advocacy.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
Our vision is to serve children and those in the cycle of poverty through holistic relief and development nationally and globally. By empowering disenfranchised communities and providing them with the basic necessities of life to instill hope and dignity to their lives, we believe our families become healthier, communities are strengthened and the worth and purpose of humanity is restored. As we equip indigenous leaders with the tools for survival and success we envision the transformation of communities.
Additional Information:
Giving Children Hope has many volunteer opportunities available! From stocking shelves and filling backpacks full of food for the homeless children in Orange County, to sorting through medical supplies to be shipped for disaster relief or the poor around the world, there are many opportunities to help with our landscaping needs, to helping shoppers in our Mission Store.
Volunteer hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm. Please contact volunteer@godaid.org for more information.
**If you would like to host a Food Drive for the homeless children in Orange County, please email volunteer@godaid.org for a Food Drive Kit, and help to get started.**
