A clean river is fashionable! Help create a healthier community in Mission Valley. Join the San Diego River Park Foundation’s Clean and Green Team and help us attack trash and illegal dumping along our namesake river. Recently, our scout teams found large areas of trash and dumping poised to wash into the river. We need your help to save the river and its habitat!
Volunteers will meet in the south eastern parking lot near Bloomingdale’s. All tools and supplies will be provided; community service hours can be verified. Feel free to invite any friends or family interested in spending a few hours helping the environment, Light rain does not cancel. Be sure to dress in clothes that can get a little dirty, closed shoes required. Hat and sunscreen recommended. To rsvp or for more info please call 619.297.7380 or email volunteer@sandiegoriver.org
