Mission Statement:
Combating poverty...empowering people

To combat poverty in the greater Tempe Area.
Program History:
Since 1966 TCAA's mission has been to combat poverty in our community. Each day TCAA delivers over 200 meals to the elderly and disabled in South Scottsdale.

FIRST CRUSH EVENT:
"The First Crush" Charity Gala and Silent Auction is being held on October 15, 2010 from 6-9PM, at Hayden Ferry Lakeside. Each year over 300 participants enjoy our Gala.
First Crush has become a tradition in Tempe with over 300 participants attending each year. Renowned jazz artist Alice Tatum and her band entertain the crowd. Enjoy sampling a variety of wines accompanied by delicious array of tastings compliments of Santa Barbara Catering. Tickets are $75 per person. Last year 50,000 was raised, of which 100% went to all the programs and services TCAA provides to our community. For more informaiton please contact kathye@tempeaction.org
TCAA brings stability and independence to children, families, the working poor, seniors and the homeless through programs such as the food pantry, Interfaith Homeless Emergency Lodging Program (I-HELP), Home-Delivered Meals and the HealthStart Prenatal Education Program.
