ElderHelp provides personalized services and information that help seniors remain independent and live with dignity in their own homes.
Program History:
ElderHelp has been providing services to seniors in San Diego since 1973.
Events:
Upcoming Volunteer Orientations: Saturday June 15th 9:00-11:00am, Tuesday July 16th 5:30-7:30pm, Saturday August 10th 9:00-11:00am.

Join ElderHelp's team or volunteers and help make a difference in the lives of San Diego seniors!
Volunteer opportunities include: helping with rides to medical appointments/social visits, grocery shopping, friendly visiting, mail & bill sorting, pet care, light housekeeping, gardening/yard maintenance and minor home repairs.
Help with rides when it fits into your schedule! Meet many new seniors! We request a minimum of 3 rides per month. Mileage reimbursement is available.
Get matched up one on one with a senior to provide assistance through ongoing regularly scheduled visits. Build a relationship that is long lasting! Visits are typically bi-weekly.
Process to become a volunteer: attend an orientation, complete an application with references, background check, DMV check and personal interview.
*Commitment-we ask for a one year commitment, however if you are not able to fulfill one year, please call us and we will let you know what would be available for a short term timeframe.
