Mission Statement:
Through teamwork, communication and training, Ambercare will continue to provide the most compassionate care, meeting the highest standards of quality for individuals and their families in the comfort of their own homes.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
Hospice; Holds the dignity of the patient sacred; Offers hope and affirms life; surrounds the patient with a familiar environment; Participates with the family in providing care; Initiates and maintains pain and symptom control; Cares for the imotional needs of the family unit; Extends bereavement care for a year after death.
Program History:
Ambercare opened in 1994 as the only locally owned home health care center in Valencia County. Since then Ambercare has extended its service to include hospice care and medical supplies, as well as the Medicaid Personal Care Option program. Ambercare currently has multiple locations through New Mexico.
