Volunteer opportunities for groups and individuals at each of our stores in Brooklyn Center, New Hope, Richfield and St. Paul.  We offer one-time as well as on-going volunteer opportunities with flexible hours—days, evenings and weekends, 7 days a week!  Volunteer shifts are typically 2, 3 or 4 hours and scheduling is flexible.

We welcome youth groups to volunteer at Arc’s Value Village but must be

accompanied by adults at a ratio of 6 youth to 1 adult.  You will be required to bring the appropriate number of adult chaperones with your group.  Youth 7 or younger cannot volunteer at Arc’s Value Village.

Volunteers at Value Village help us unpack and sort donations such as clothing, accessories, household items, books, toys, jewelry, etc. and help get them ready for the sales floor.  Unpacking and sorting donations is loads of fun for all volunteers as you never know what amazing treasure you might discover!  Other volunteer projects include helping to hang and tag clothing, price sticker hard goods and stock the merchandise on the sales floor.

Your support at Value Village makes our community a better place for people with disabilities.  Sales revenue from Arc’s Value Village supports Arc Greater Twin Cities and its programs and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.  Arc’s Value Village Thrift Stores, Autos for Arc, and Arc’s Used Goods Pick-up Service have raised more than $12 million for Arc’s programs and services since 1982.  For more information on Arc and Value Village, please visit our website at http://www.arcgreatertwincities.org/.
