Mission Statement:
Rescue of Chihuahuas and small dogs from shelters, abuse, abandoned and neglicated. Provide all medcial care that is needed, then find forever homes.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
Colorado has an overpopulation of dogs, our philosopy is to rescue dogs within the state and find forever homes in the state. We do not bring dogs into Colorado from other states, has there is enough dogs right here that need our help.
Program History:
Chihuahua & Small Dog Rescue started in October, 2005. We have rescued over 650 small dogs and have placed 600 into forever homes.
Events:
We hold Meet & Greets on Saturdays in the Denver Metro Area and Colorado Springs. We are needing help at these events to walk the dogs. The events are from 8:30 - 4:00, and are held at different Petcos. Minimium age is 14 without a parent attending. We also require signed parents permission and release of liability.
