Mission Statement:
To use service as a vehicle by which we might spread the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
Empowering youth for tomorrow's success, teaching youth basic skills that they will use the rest of thier lives on projects that will affect them for positive change. A remarkable impact is made on a young person who makes a difference in another person's life that has real life altering situations, weather they are handicapped or in dire need. This impact translates into putting our own problems into perspective when faced with individuals who overcome daily life challenges with a positive attitude.
Program History:
Started in 2002 as a place where youth can go to have someone who not only believes that they can make a difference but will empower them and will guide them the tools to accomplish high level impact projects that will influence others to attempt and embrace simular projects.
Events:
Nearly every weekend the CYC has day projects and once a monthe we have a weekend Service Op's campover.
Community Projects are undertaken one to possibly twice a year.
