Mission Statement:
The Emerald City Lights Bike Ride, is a non-profit, charitable and educational organization dedicated to provide to those in need.
Our goal is to support activities, organizations, and operate programs that work to provide nutrition and general humanitarian aid. Proper nutrition will increase wellness.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
Our philosophy is one can not have a good life without good health. We promote eating healthy,natural and organic foods to provide better health which leads to a better life.
Program History:
In our 6th year as a non-profit helping families in need throughout the Puget Sound areas. We have yearly events that raise the money along with donations to feed the families. We focus on healthy, natural and organic foods. We deliver to 2 families a week at this time with fresh fruits & vegetables from Full Circle Farms and depending on our funds other staple items from our shelves. Our main giving is during the holidays Thanksgiving and Christmas. Last year we were able to assist 225 families over 400 individuals with mom, dads and children. We were able to send 38 children with parents to the 1st Annual "Be Fit Night with the Storm
