Mission Statement:
The Equilibrium Institute of the Americas mission is to prevent, reduce, or eliminate corruption by aiding self-empowerment and reinforcing healthy competitions congruent with the natural laws of mutual reliance.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
"Authority requires maintaining respect, knowledge, dignity, and the ability to communicate. Without a commitment to being cooperative towards sustainable goals, authority is corrupt and only has as much force as people are willing to suffer. Power and force are not the same thing. Under this line of reasoning, the less corrupt one is, the more powerful you are- despite rank, despite status, but in consideration of the natural law of harmony which is maintained through mutual reliance and cooperation. Where the laws of harmony and mutual reliance are neglected, diseases, sorrow, improverishment, ignorance, and preventable forms of violence and suffering are immediately created or reinforced. Real empowerment results from learning how to harness and utilize the power most of us already come equiped with at birth. The answer to the majority of the problems we face on earth can be addressed through a combination of focused discipline that strengthens the use of authority and the congruence in the applications of care practiced in the diverse traditions of the world."
Program History:
About the Director Of EIA
Rob has a strong track record in public service providing career advisement and other services to diverse populations served by the non-profits, Cities, and State government he has worked for. His recent Masters degree led to controversial papers that defend his appointment as a modern Philosopher with an Ontologist bent. Besides being a trusted informant and friend to those seeking a healthy equilibrium, the skills Rob brings to the table helps to explain EIA’s fast rise- particularly in the music industry. Blaming his recent successes on, “having good taste and being in touch with market demands,” it is clear that being on the cutting edge is a slippery slop in a turbulent marketplace inflated by ego's and what Rob calls another highly monopolized business circuit that forces many under educated and over trusting artists to become grossly exploited. Determined and optimistic about numerous ongoing productions and his indie labels growing success, it is clear the bands on his Watch List are doing something right.
Track record 2000-08:
Of radio stations contacted internationally an average of 90% respond with support by announcing shows, spinning bands we introduce and giving free tickets away.
