We aim to improve the lives of our young people building their minds through social and community awareness!
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
Family Service of Greater Boston is a nonprofit agency providing leadership and mentoring skills for high school youth ages 15-19 in the Greater Boston area. The program created is titled YouthAim! C.A.R.E.S and it will form partnerships with local community agencies and the Boston Public School system to provide the youth healthy and rich opportunities. Our aim is to develop strong interpersonal skills, academic success and community involvement making these essentials a habit of mind for our youth. Only through an understanding of self and an ability to form healthy personal relationships can a sense of individual responsibility be reestablished that will give youth the commitment to follow through on a path to adulthood with a sense of pride and accomplishment. YouthAim! has a fostered commitment to young people that will promote pro-social friendships with community members to develop their minds and create conscious and independent thinkers.
