Mission Statement:
To educate and nurture children whose families struggle with the risk of reality of homelessness. We offer housing, culturally relevant information and support services enabling families to achieve permanent stability.

Program History:
First Place opened their doors to 5 students in 1989. From our modest beginnings, First Place has expanded to become an agency with special focus and concern for children and families in crisis and/or transition. Our programs are designed to support and advocat for appropriate and effective education for these children.
Events:
Early Learning (preschool) class is looking for volunteers from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. You will work one on one with a child in academics and play.
