Global Volunteer Foundation assists rural and urban communities by providing support and services in such areas as education, health, and the environment, as well as help in times of natural or man-made disaster.Global Volunteer Foundation enables volunteers through motivation, encouragement, and support to initiate and implement projects for communities in need.

There are numerous volunteer projects and organizations all over the country always looking for a helping hand. Most volunteer work involves working either with disadvantaged communities or with wildlife & conservation projects.
Program History:
Global Volunteer Foundation is a non-governmental organization that is working towards the betterment of deprived communities through volunteerism. It is based in Accra; the capital of Ghana.Global Volunteer Foundation was established officially in 2012. Founded originally in 2010 by a young Ghanaian named Nicholas Kirk Addo We are a registered Organization in Ghana, registered with the Registrar Generals Department under the companies’ code, 1963 (Act 179) with a registration number G-28, 293.
The group is a non-profit one with no political or religious affiliations, which is able to operate due to kind contribution of its members, individual volunteers and concerned philanthropists. Our main is to assist rural and urban dwellers in areas of education, health, empowerment of women, and to promote cultural diversity programs. We work with all ages, all genders, and all ethnic groups in Ghana, especially at the rural level.
