For seniors it's all about fulfillment and giving back, for students it about Community Service Credits, helping their favorite, local organization and the sharpening of their skill sets. Grants To You - North GA exists solely for this purpose in our region.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
Paul Baskin founded Grants To You (formerly Grants For You) in 2001 in order to utilize the untapped talent and availability of primarily senior citizens and students to help their favorite, local nonprofit with their never ending quest for funds by assisting them with their grant research and writing. Since that time, GTU has grown from two chapters to 15 located in the States of New York, Indiana, Georgia, California, Oklahoma, Ohio, and Arizona. Volunteer graduates have helped to win over $1,100,000 for local agencies they have selected. Grants To You became a nonprofit corporation in good standing in the State of Arizona under the name The Lifespan Foundation dba Grants To You. GTU chapters operate independently under the guidelines provided during their formation process. Each chapter has its own Advisory Council made up of local citizens who have an interest in supporting nonprofit activities.
