Mission Statement:
HopeLine is a family of confidential services offering caring, non-judgmental listening and resource information in an effort to improve the overall well-being of people in the community.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
HopeLine is a 24-hour crisis and suicide hotline, providing non-judgmental, confidential, and supportive active listening.
Program History:
HopeLine began on September 1st, 1970.
Additional Information:
We provide potential volunteers with 40 hours of training to take calls ranging from suicide, mental health, domestic violence, child abuse, substance abuse, and interpersonal relationships. You must be 18 years or older to volunteer. We ask for a 12 hour a month / 9 month commitment after training is completed. If you are interested, please email us for more information.
