Mission Statement:
New Life Society started in March of 2001, with the aim of giving food, shelter and support to women and children.
Through the years, we’ve helped dozens of God's women, children . . . and even men . . . find kindness, a friendly smile, and a better way of living.
If you or someone you know is in need of help, give us a call or drop us an email.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
All beings are put here to learn, to grow, to be of service to others. Sometimes the struggle for survival is so intense that we become selfish and forgetful of the art and happiness involved in giving and caring. New Life Society strives to give support in the area of empowering those struggling with every level of poverty to have the self-esteem, wisdom, and confidence to be givers. This empowerment is not limited to attempts to find housing or food, though that is often times a preliminary requisite for many persons. Even the wealthiest on a material level can be the most impoverished and unwilling to extend any love to others.
Program History:
Begun in the foothills of the Sierran Nevada's, Tulare County....2001. Relocated to LA in 2007. Currently seeking resources and volunteers to develop a shelter(s) in the LA area.
