Mission Statement:
The Peruvian-American Chamber of Commerce of South Florida is an independent non-profit organization, supported exclusively by its members. We are committed to increase the reach of the business community in Florida as well as the promotion of commercial, economic and industrial relations between Florida and Peru through seminars, major conferences, publications and other member services.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
We serve as key vehicle of communication, cooperation and development for the Peruvian-American business community.
We bring business leaders together to facilitate contacts and provide platforms for networking.
We provide assistance and essential information to Peru and Florida based corporations about doing business in both these markets.
We represent mutual interest of members and take action to further their interest.
We promote and sponsor standards of integrity and professionalism among members.
Program History:
This is the second year of this program - it has brought in the awareness of the different type of food in the different regions of the Country of Peru. It has help the business relationship between USA and Peru - specially after the new treaty between USA and Peru.

"Taste of Peru 2011" - Gastronomic Festival - location 711 NW 72nd Avenue, Miami, Florida 33126 Miami Airport Convention Center
Additional Information:
Help in the office setting: (Now until the event day)
- Clerical help to the President and secretary. Like phone calling, doing follow up with the different individuals who will come to join us in our event. Faxing, typing letters, proposal, etc. Light office duties.
- Help at the Convention Center: (November 11 – 13, 2011)
At the event to take effect on November 11 – from 6 - to 12:00 Grand Gala dinner, we will need individuals to help us at the door, ushering guests to their respective reserved tables. Help us with checking ID’s.
On Saturday November 12, 2011, we will need volunteers to be at the convention center from
8:00 am on helping:
Set up
Help at the door
Help as runners
Assist Chefts (chopping, prepping, etc)
Usher the VIP Guest
Situate the different vendors in their assigned places
Help us clean up
- On Sunday November 13, 2011, it will be the same as Saturday and we will need volunteers from 8:00 am at the location also.
Minimun hours a day worked, will be 6 hrs, with 1/2 hr break the day of the event. We will provide them with vouchers for food and drink. If they decide enjoy the event, they can stay.
