Philosophy/Belief Statement:
Hospice believes death to be a natural part of the cycle of life. Hospice neither hastens nor postpones death. Hospice supports patients who desire to die with dignity and have as much control as possible.
Program History:
VistaCare was founded in 1995 bt three nurses in Scottsdale, Arizona. We are the largest hospice nation wide.

Volunteers are needed for patient companionship, support and socialization. They are also needed for in many cases as caregiver companionship, support and relief.
Volunteers are also needed as administrative assistance doing everything from filing , photocopying, assisting with mailings to answering the phones.
