Mission Statement:
Waltham Fields Community Farm (WFCF) promotes local agriculture through growing and distribution practices that are socially, ecologically, and economically sustainable. We forge relationships between people, their food supply, and the land from which it grows.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
We envision communities in which sustainable agriculture plays a central role in creating universal access to the food and beauty of local farms.
Additional Information:
For individuals interested in volunteering to help our farm crew in the field we have volunteer drop-in hours April-October. Drop-in hours are 9am-12pm and you can stay for whatever amount of time works for your schedule, but we do ask that all volunteers arrive promptly at 9am so that we can get started as a team.
We also have various office tasks if individuals are interested in non-fieldwork volunteering. Contact jericho@communityfarms.org to inquire about these opportunities.
