American Diabetes ALERT - Tuesday, March 22, 2016
The American Diabetes Alert is conducted on the 4th Tuesday in March to raise awareness about the seriousness of diabetes and its risk factors. The diabetes risk test is distributed and promoted through community activities and media.
Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes (Duluth) - Saturday, April 9, 2016
Join us at the University Minnesota Duluth, Ward Wells Field House as we walk to help raise awareness and funds for diabetes research, programs, advocacy and information. Get Fit, Don’t Sit - Wednesday, May 4, 2016

Tour de Cure (Twin Cities) - Saturday, June 4, 2016
The Twin Cities ride begins and ends at Minnehaha Falls. Cycling Routes range from 7 to 100 miles and NEW for 2016 a 2.5 mile Walk/Run route to commemorate the Tour’s 25th Anniversary. All routes are well marked and fully supported with frequent rest stops, SAG wagons, mechanical support and plentiful food and beverage. Ride. Party. Stop Diabetes. Tough Mudder - July 16 and July 17, 2016
Join Team American Diabetes Association at Tough Mudder. Tough Mudder is a team-oriented 10-12 mile obstacle course designed to test physical strength and mental grit. Camp Needlepoint - (Session 1) August 14-20, 2016; (Session 2) August 21-27, 2016
Camp Daypoint - August 15-19, 2016
Camp Needlepoint, a residential camp for children with diabetes ages 8-16 years, holds two one-week sessions. Camp Daypoint, a day camp for children with diabetes ages 5-9 years, holds one five day session. The camps have been serving thousands of children with diabetes for over 50 years. Young Professional Leadership Council (YPLC) The Young Professional Leader Council (YPLC) is the ADA’s newest organization for young professionals that raise awareness of diabetes and prevention for young adults ages 18-32. The YPLC actively engages with young adults via social media and blogging.
