The work of the American Lung Association is focused on four strategic imperatives: to defeat lung cancer; to improve the air we breathe; to reduce the burden of lung disease on individuals and their families; and to eliminate tobacco use and tobacco-related diseases.
Program History:
Run the Rocks is the only sanctioned 10K, 5K and family fun run and fundraising event held at the world famous Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre and benefits the the American Lung Association in Colorado. More than 22,000 people have come together with friends, family and co-workers to raise money and run through the iconic history and beauty in Morrison, CO while enjoying some of Colorado's best live music.
Events:
Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre for Run the Rocks, 10K, 5K and family run. Need help day of at the park, and week prior in office.
Additional Information:
We need event volunteers for the day of race on Sunday, October 13th. We also need help with all our pre-race activities and packet pickups the week of October 7th. If volunteers are available from July - September, we need people to go to Red Rocks and pass out flyers about our event.
