We are seeking amazing men and women to join our volunteer team in Manatee County!
Our volunteer victim advocates are trained to respond to calls to assist the victim at the time of crisis. Back up for the volunteer is always available from our Centerstone Sexual Assault Services with the on call Victim Advocates. We ask our volunteers to give at least a one year commitment due to the amount of training involved. Training involves a 30 hour computerized training and 10 hours of supervised on-call hours. We require that the on-line training be completed within one month of enrolling. We also have a required monthly meeting/training. Centerstone Sexual assault would also need assistance with general office work.
