Philosophy/Belief Statement:
The Eastside Recreation Center in Elgin, IL promotes healthy lifestyles through fun active play, creative games, environmental awareness, and nutrition. We build children's confidence in celebrating their talents and strengths. Children participate in sports, arts and crafts, games, special event days, swimming lessons and free swim. Lunches are provided to campers.

High School and College Students sign up now to volunteer as Summer Camp Assistants at the Eastside Recreation Center. This is a great opportunity for students who are thinking about a career in education or recreation. Volunteer positions show future employers and college admission counselors a student's drive and dedication. Such accomplishments demonstrate initiative, personal will and leadership skills. All new volunteers must attend volunteer orientation, sign a waiver and have a background check. Volunteers under 18 years old must have a parent or guardian also sign the waiver and background check.
