Museum docents are an essential part of life at the Cupertino Historical Museum. They open and close the museum, greet visitors, answer questions, lead tours, and sell merchandise from our gift shop. Docents typically work 2-hour shifts, and we ask docents to commit to at least 4 hours per month. Our museum space is roughly 1,000 square feet and features rotating exhibits on the history of Cupertino. Our museum is open Wednesday - Saturday, 10 am - 4 pm. We are looking for Volunteer Docents to fill several openings throughout the week (docents typically work in two hour shifts). Docents must be 16 years old or older.
