The Delaware Division of Historical & Cultural Affairs Volunteer Program was launched in 2011. We are proud to say that we have multiple historic sites and museums that are only open due to our volunteers commitment to Delaware's history and culture. We also offer internships where students help out Collections Management team to preserve and exhibit Delaware's large collection of art and artifacts. Our volunteers help share Delaware's unique history by guiding guests through our sites as well as participating in research and program development. Our volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds including retired Air Force members, musicians, computer programming specialists, stay-at-home parents, students, teachers, farmers, and many more.
