Additional Information
Additional Information:
There are several different ways to be involved with the Disability Allies. We are looking for volunteers, board members and employees.
Become a mentor at our events
At all of our events we will pair up individuals with disabilities with Mentors who will socialize with them and engage them in the activities.
CLICK HERE to learn more about being a mentor at our events.
Employment, leadership roles and additional volunteer opportunities
We are looking for staff and volunteers to help us with running the organization. We are also looking for experienced individuals to join our Board of Directors and be advisers for our student run chapters.
Fill-out our application and specify what you are interested in.
Start or join an existing college or high school chapter
We are looking for students at local colleges and high schools to start or join an existing Disability Allies student run chapter at their college or high school. The chapter will do the following:
- Host their own events at their school or college that involve connecting college or high school students with individuals with disabilities.
- Host events similar to Transition to college day where we pair up students with disabilities from local high schools with college students and help them with the transition process to college.
- Plan and facilitate events for a specific disability organization. CLICK HERE for more information.
