Mission Statement:
Faith Food Fridays provides free food and other necessities to the Vallejo, California area residents in need. Our mission is to end hunger and the devastation of poverty for our neighbors.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
Faith Food Fridays believes that it is our God-given privilege and duty to help those who are struggling to eat and live a healthy life.
Program History:
Our first distribution was on Friday, July 24, 2011. In 2015 we added Tuesdays to our public food distributions. Currently, we serve between 300 and 400 families each week. We do not require documentation to receive food or any of our other free items or services. Today we provide food, clothing, small household items, linens, personal hygiene items and even dog and cat food. Free services include mens and boys haircuts, flu shots, financial literacy, resource referrals
