Mission Statement:
Providing compassion and caring, while striving to enhance the quality of life for those with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones is our mission at Heart to Heart Hospice.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
Our Goal is to allow patients to rejoice in the lives of their loved ones and share positive memories of the legacy that they are leaving behind. At Heart to Heart Hospice we try to go beyond the expectations of our patients and their families to provide them with compassionate, personalized care and emotional and spiritual support.
We believe in a plan for living that will enable patients to spend their remaining time pain-free and with dignity. We believe that all eligible patients, regardless of the complexity of their needs, should be able to receive the comprehensive care that they deserve. We strive to make a difference in the lives of others and treat each individual with respect and compassion, while improving the quality standards associated with end-of-life care.
Additional Information:
Heart to Heart Hospice is looking for patient volunteers to provide support for patients who are experiencing a life limiting, end of life and their families and caregivers. Volunteers are needed to provide socialization, companionship, or maybe sitting with a patient while the caregiver goes out for a short time.
Our administrative volunteers at Heart to Heart Hospice make a big difference in our families' lives and are greatly appreciated within our team! Volunteers perform duties such as filing, copying, mail-outs, unpacking, organizing the supplies, and making patient informational packets.
Volunteers are crucial for these programs to succeed! Get involved and be a blessing to someone by taking advantage of this wonderful opportunity.
